Wirral watercress established in 2005, is based in Children Thornton. Peter Jones has a passion for producing high quality products – watercress, rocket, broad beans, runner beans, squash, courgettes and leeks. Peter is always willing to experiment with exciting new crops, which we in turn sell to our customers. He now produces ‘micro herbs’ which are becoming more and more popular.
Otherwise known as Arugula, it is one of the most nutritious green leafy vegetables originating from the Mediterranean, containing the following:
⦁ Antioxidants;
⦁ Rich source of phytochemicals;
⦁ Anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties;
⦁ Rich in folates;
⦁ Excellent source of vitamin A,C, B complex and B6.
